When the Houstons Astros came to Fayetteville, 219 Group had the unique opportunity to work with the developing team from the ground up, helping to launch the Woodpeckers’ brand. 219 Group’s focus and creativity helped institute the conceptualization and development of the team’s 1918 uniform, stadium mural design, food vendor designs, and team store to name a few. This partnership has been a pleasure and a chance to showcase our creativity in a truly special way.

Uniform Design

When the Houstons Astros came to Fayetteville, 219 Group had the unique opportunity to work with the developing team from the ground up, helping to launch the Woodpeckers’ brand. 219 Group’s focus and creativity helped institute the conceptualization and development of the team’s 1918 uniform, stadium mural design, food vendor designs, and team store to name a few. This partnership has been a pleasure and a chance to showcase our creativity in a truly special way.

Operating as the Woodpeckers’ local brand ambassador, we conceptualized and designed the hat and jersey for the Fayetteville Woodpeckers’ 1918 uniform. Through this process we worked closely with Mark Zarthar, President, and the Houston office to realize the creation of this design with our local prowess and understanding of the brand.

The Woodpeckers’ chose to utilize our local expertise and design skills in their logo work for the stadium build. From drafting the stadium mural to the team store sign and the food vendor logos, our team tirelessly researched and artfully crafted each piece to represent the City of Fayetteville, as well as the fusion between military and baseball culture. Each piece is uniquely branded and identifiable.
