219 Group is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. We’re looking for a need-to-know-it-all personality who’s curious about new technologies and has that rare ability to grasp direction and turn it into design gold.
Responsibilities:
- All types of design including basic web graphics, sell sheets, presentations, web content, direct mail, email newsletters, print and online advertising, posters, event signage, packaging, and more.
- Work with/report to creative director to ensure effectiveness of brand identity and expression for our over 100 clients.
- Collaborate with design and copy on concept through execution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
- Rework design until ‘final’ to accommodate revisions.
- Collaborate across teams.
Qualifications:
- Agency experience and publisher / media company experience ideal, however not required. You do however have to have a portfolio.
- Fluency in current graphic design practices and web production software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
- Strong conceptual skills and design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the Internet and Presentation.
- Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and manage expectations of all stakeholders.
- Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, & CSS.
- Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital media.
- Knowledge/understanding of the Social Media space is a must. About the different social networks and the design needed for each.
- Excellent listener/collaborative.
- Takes constructive criticism.
- Strong portfolio.
